Wim was sensational. The best guide I have travelled with. He was knowledgeable about the animals and had interesting things to tell us. He was very helpful with the photography side and always willing to help out. I learnt a lot from him.

Firstly thank you again for your time, patience and expertise. We came back so much wiser than when we left, and with a burning desire to return. It is without a doubt the best holiday we have been on, and changed our perception of so much. You have to take a lot of the credit for that, the rest has to be taken by the wildlife itself. We are already looking at when to go back to Africa, and are looking at what trips you are involved in to try and ensure we again benefit from you and your knowledge.

Wim has the three magic ingredients of a best-in-class photo safari guide – an encyclopedic knowledge of animals and birds, photographic expertise, and a passion for his work. Thanks to his guidance and ability to predict animal behavior (not to mention excellent driving skills!), I came home with a set of photos that told a story about the animals in their natural habitat. With endless patience and encouragement, he tailored his approach with each guest to ensure they got what they wanted from the trip, whether that was technical support, compositional inspiration, or a last minute trip to see flamingos!

A photo-editing session with Mags is the perfect complement to a photo shoot with Wim. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm for editing is infectious (and she is great company around the campfire!). Perfectly balancing constructive feedback and encouragement, she taught me how to review my photos with an editor’s eye, selecting the best to develop further, and shared tips for editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. With her patient guidance, I was able to better understand what made some photos better than others, and apply these learnings during the next game drive."

Our Namibia photo trip was a fantastic experience. The schedule was very varied with every day bringing new and amazing opportunities for landscape, people and wildlife photography. The team provided invaluable expertise on the best shooting techniques and Photoshop tips and tricks. Above all the great hospitality provided by Will, Wim and the entire team was what really made the trip so memorable.
