Introduction
Don’t miss these exciting four-night predator workshops with Msc. nature conservation student and specialist field guide Wim Vorster, as you explore the world of predators and scavengers of southern Africa.
You will spend one night joining Wim as he follows and observes the secretive brown hyaena on Rietvlei nature reserve, where after you will travel to the world renowned Sabi Sabi Private Game reserve (within the greater Kruger National Park) to track lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyaena and the endangered African wild dog.
An hour long presentation on each predator will be presented by Wim and full colour notes will also be received by all participants. Aspects like morphology, distribution, ecological status, social organization, predatory behaviour and reproductive behaviour will all be discussed in detail.
You will be treated to incredible sightings with superb guiding while staying in luxury five star accommodation. The small groups will allow optimal positioning for photography and game viewing.
